Privacy Policy.
The Money Room respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it. Plain language, no surprises.
This document is a starting framework written by the founder. It should be reviewed by a lawyer before being relied on for high-stakes situations. If you have questions about anything below, email hello@mymoneyroom.com.
Who we are
"The Money Room" is a financial-clarity practice operating from mymoneyroom.com, run by Shayne Gabriel as The Money Room, LLC (Louisiana). Inquiries: hello@mymoneyroom.com.
What we collect
From the application form. When you apply for the Private Money Audit, we collect: your name, email address, business name, monthly revenue range, and a short description of your biggest money struggle. Submitted via our application form, stored securely.
From audit payment. When you pay the $1,250 audit fee, payment processing is handled by Stripe (and/or HoneyBook). We receive your name and email and the fact of payment. We do not see or store your card details.
From the newsletter signup. If you subscribe to The Briefing, we collect your email address (handled by our email service provider, Beehiiv). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
From clients. Active Money Room clients share financial documents and account access (read-only) needed to perform the monthly close. This includes bank statements, processor reports (Stripe, PayPal, etc.), QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping access, and contractor information. We treat this information with the standard professional confidentiality expected of a financial practice.
Automatically. Our website may collect basic technical information (IP address, browser type, page visits) for security and usability. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising tracking.
